Little Gypsy was found in a small neighborhood in South County Tillamook. It was pouring down rain and she did not seem to move out of one spot for several hours.
So the finding person finally brought the tiny dog indoors. They spent the next few hours knocking on doors searching for her home. No such luck...Once the little soaking wet pup was brought into TCAA's care, she was bathed and shaved, as her fur was caked with puss, and blood from countless oozing hotspots covering her small body. The yeast scent was intense and her skin was inflamed from head to tail. It was apparent that she had been suffering for some time. Shaving her hair allowed her skin to dry out and a couple baths a week, help keep the yeast down. But she is still suffering, and needs extra help.
poundWISHES was able to fulfill little Gypsy's Wishlist needs with items like soothing conditioner, hot spot cream, and fleece vests to keep her warm while her skin healed. We are happy to announce that her foster family decided to ADOPT HER and provide the care she so badly needed. We are happy to report that she has become a whole new dog! She's happy, playful, and her hair is growing back, over new healthy skin. She has bouncy fun fur-siblings and loving human parents now, she'll never know sadness again!
