Newton was found emaciated, dehydrated, and had frost bite on his toes. His toenails were all falling off one at a time. When Almost Home- No Kill Shelter rescued Newton, they were able to get him to an emergency vet right away. Newton was immediately given antibiotics, IV fluids and was watched over very closely.
When Newton was released from emergency care, he was placed in a loving foster home where he was able to regain his strength and health in. He was able to rest a lot and regain his energy. Many supporters were able to purchase gifts for Newton through CUDDLY so that he could relax with the gift of hope and love. Newton gained weight, and trust while he was being cared for- his health steadily increased each and every day.
Now, Newton has found his forever family and will never have to face hunger pains again. Newton will forever be loved and he even has a fur sister to share his home with. This new beginning for Newton is what rescue is all about. Thank you to everyone who joined forces to help with Newton's care and Medical treatments. Newton loved receiving all of his Registry items from CUDDLY and will be able to enjoy them in his new home.
