Fannie's owner surrendered her to TABR when they realized that she needed more medical attention than they could provide. She had a good life with them, but she needed to have a knee replacement and an entropic surgery for her eyes. Tornado Alley Bulldog Rescue knew that Fannie would make an amazing family pet for a loving family so they agreed to help.
It turned out that Fannie's foster family couldn't agree more! Fannie was able to have her knee replacement, and heal with loving arms around her. She was able to regain her strength before having her entropic eye surgery. During that time, Fannie made herself at home and her foster family couldn't picture life without her in it. When it was time for Fannie to be adopted, her foster family decided to adopt her. This is called a foster fail because fosters are supposed to get the animal ready to be adopted out of their home. This is not a fail for Fannie--she got her fairy tail ending, and now she gets to live happily ever after with the family she loves so much.
