Pumba

Pumba was a sad pup when he was brought to the animal shelter month ago. He had no hope. No hope of a better future. He'd been struck by a car and was dragging his right front leg in the most painful of fashions.

Thankfully though, Partners-4-Paws stepped up to be the humans that Pumba NEEDED that day and brought him under their wing to receive care.  And thank goodness they did because as it turned out, Pumba had irreparable nerve damage to his brachioplexis nerve and the only choice was to amputate his leg.

With the help of kind donors and supporters who helped fund Pumba's needed treatment, surgery was done and Pumba came out with flying colors. He rested, he recovered, and he thrived as an tripod dog!

Then, when COVID-19 forced the shelter to close, Pumba was one of the lucky 9 dogs chosen to go to a luxury dog spa where he got a lot of spoiling.  And guess what? It was because of that spa that Pumba was able to find a loving family - one who will love him and cherish him for all the rest of his days.

Today, he is a completley different dog.  We were so happy to have been able to play a large part in his recovery and getting him into a furever home.

Cost of surgery?  $995. Cost of seeing him recover and bloom? PRICELESS
