At ten months old, Fiona's body reaped the agony of being hit by a speeding car - a speeding car that didn't even both to slow or stop after smashing into her body.

It's not uncommon for these kinds of accidents to happen..and it's not uncommon for animals to be left behind, treated no better than trash. But that doesn't mean it's okay or any less sad. Fiona laid on the road for hours without anyone to help her after the hit. Numerous people had probably already passed right by her when FINALLY, someone stopped. They saw her and actually stopped to do something about her condition. They picked up her little body and brought her to the hospital where doctors looked over her contusion and bruise-covered body. She had cuts and scraps all over and x-rays showed bone breaks that needed surgical repair. As many of your know, orthopedic surgeries on legs don't come cheap and so, Fiona's care was a bit daunting. But thanks to the kind people at CUDDLY, we were able to raise over $2,000 dollars for her procedures! She even got loads of goodies to help her in recovery and rehab!

And after all was said and done and Fiona made her FULL recovery (you go girl), she found a loving family who absolutely ADORES her. Adores her. Never again will she know the pain of her past - and it's all thanks to you all. Big thank you to everyone who made this happen!
