Benji

Benji couldn't use words to describe the horrific acts inflicted upon him. But one look in this poor, four-month-old's eyes and you can see the horrible abuse he has been forced to endure. While not much is known about his history, we didn't need an examination, blood tests, or x-rays to imagine the severity of his past traumas; for Benji, it was written all over his poor little body.

It's difficult to imagine the horrific traumas this little baby has endured at the hands of a human, or worse, humans. This very special package of Unconditional Love was treated in a way that NO living creature should be treated: He was heartlessly abused, with the perpetrator(s) going as far as taking lit cigarettes to his back - leaving him suffering from severe burns. 

Rescuers were astounded, appalled, and above all, enraged. They rushed him to the hospital to receive emergency wound care, after which he was taken to decompress safely in the home of his foster momma. He was, however, up for a tough emotional and physical recovery. While he decompressed and healed, Benji was getting lots of love, snuggles, and care, along with continued wound cleanings and antibiotics to prevent infection.

Benji deserves the world ? and after all that he's been through, rescuers were committed to making sure he gets nothing but the best for his future. He had SO much left ahead of him, and SO much love left to give. And despite his traumatic start to life, this baby never failed to make the best out of every situation.

All that is fine and peachy with Benji FINALLY after so much suffering he had to endure. No love lost for him!! In fact, this little man's found his PERFECT forever humans, who love him wholly and unconditionally. His name is now Freddie and he's found his forever home in Laguna Beach, CA. We hear he is LOVING the California ocean breeze while getting to play in his big backyard. We are so thankful to all of his donors that raised over $900 for him and over $100 over his campaign amount which will be going to other dogs in need! Because of you, his happily ever after was possible; he will be forever grateful.
