Ranger

Sweet Ranger is an 8-month-old puppy who by no reason deserved the malicious act of violence inflicted on him. He was discovered profusely bleeding from his nose and mouth with bullets lodged in his body after almost being shot to death.

Ranger's original finder was going to euthanize him until Ozzie and Friends stepped up and brought him into their care. The person who shot Ranger wanted him to die, but he survived and there was no way rescuers could give up on him now. After rushing Ranger to the emergency vet, it was confirmed two (22mm Cal) bullets were lodged in his body. One bullet was in the upper end of his jaw, very close to his brain, and the other bullet was lodged near his shoulder. 

Ranger required two surgeries to remove the third bullet lodged in his armpit. Yes, that's right…the third bullet lodged in him. To say that this pup has suffered is an absolute understatement. We cannot believe someone could do this to an innocent pup, especially this sweet boy. 

However, Ranger's days of neglect and misery are now a distant memory. Because of all his CUDDLY supporters, his campaign raised over $700 and he received so many healing items from his wishlist to aid in his recovery! On top of this, he ALSO found his forever home!
