Pesce

Heartbreaking was the understatement of the year for this poor boy. Despite, being completely overwhelmed with medical cases, sweet, innocent Pesce was exactly the kind of dog Love Leo Rescue could not shut their doors to. 

Pesce was discovered in the desert near San Bernardino and Delano area after suffering from a shattered leg. After rushing him to the vet, doctors believed this sweet boy had been living with this excruciating injury for three to four weeks, possibly even longer.

The moment Pesce came to rescuers, they immediately scheduled him for two surgeries to repair his horribly broken leg- and fortunately, it was a success! He was then sent home to his foster where he received all the love, care, and CUDDLY wishlist items he could get. Despite everything he had gone through, his tail didn’t stop wagging the entire time. After just a few days in his foster home, Pesce’s foster mom fell in love with him. I mean, who wouldn’t? This special boy won her over with his big smile and gentle disposition. 

Because of Pesce’s CUDDLY supporters, he was given a second chance at life. His campaign raised over $1,400 to go directly toward his surgeries and ongoing care. On top of this, he also received so many wishlist items which were most certainly what aided in his speedy recovery. He has fully recovered from his badly broken leg and is now ready to begin the best part of his life!
