Uno

Can you imagine being alone, afraid, not able to see what was around you, and then on top of that being in SO much pain? Sweet little Uno was found as a stray with his eye basically falling out of his socket.

We aren't sure what happened to this precious baby or where he came from if he had a family etc., but we do know that he was too young to have already experienced this much pain in his life! When he was taken to the vet they found that he was anemic, covered in fleas, and full of hookworms, coccidia, and roundworms... what else to put on this list of ailments for this poor little soul?!

Uno was too weak to have the eye treated right away and they were almost certain that he will end up losing it. Funny enough, rescuers found out after he got healthy and were able to do some cleanup of his eye, that the eye was no longer there at all! They believe it either ended up falling out before they got to him, and it just wasn't there anymore?

Thankfully, he didn't need to have a procedure done or anything; rescuers just medicated him, cleaned him up, and made sure he was back to health. He was doing better and better by the day and LOVED his Cuddly gifts from his donors! He was able to reach his full fundraising goal and sweet Uno is now living his best life with his foster mommy and his foster brother and sisters. He currently has pending applications and is thriving today because of YOU!
