Twinkie

Twinkie's name is soft and sweet but he is a real tough cookie on the inside!

Before coming to Spring Branch Rescue, Twinkie lived his short little life as a street cat. Not entirely shocking?considering his appearance with one ear missing! But what WAS shocking, we are not sure how it happened - it's almost like it was cut by a vehicle fan blade?! He is a MIGHTY strong boy!

Cats can crawl up into cars to get warm from the engine that might have been turned off recently, and sometimes these cats and kittens are still under there when the car gets turned on... One thing that everyone can do is tap on the hood of the car as a little alert to any possible animals underneath, if this was done - maybe Twinkie wouldn't be missing his ear, but thankfully he escaped with his life!

Twinkie ended up with Spring Branch Rescue fosters and thankfully his hearing was not damaged when he was evaluated! Rescuers gave him some ailments to treat the cut ear and he received so much love from his donors! He absolutely loved the gifts and goodies he received! To top everything off, sweet Twinkie was adopted and found his forever home! He will never be a street kitty facing dangers ever again! Thank you to everyone who made his happily forever after possible!
