Autumn & Her 5 Puppies

Incoming mama dog and her 5 pups have been rescued from being chained outside with no shelter and minimal care. Mama is emaciated, depleted from doing her best to feed her 5 pups, originally 6 but alas, one didn't make it.

With nothing but strife in her life, Autumn had her puppies in the utmost terrible conditions, and then everything that continued after only made matters worse. With double ear infections, parasites, and wounds on her head, this new mama was hardly able to care for her puppies at all. When rescuers at Lee Shore Rescue found Autumn and 5 puppies, the pups were only 3 weeks old and they were barely surviving. They were quickly rushed to the vet to find that the mother was far too malnourished to feed them, so the rescuers quickly started to hand feed the babies so that their mother could start to recover. The pups had been diagnosed with ringworm, which takes some time to rid of. Between all the pups and the mother, they were looking like they might never recover. But between doctors, rescuers, and amazing donors like you, a few weeks of tender love and care created a whole new world for this tiny family. 

Weeks turned into months, and Autumn was able to start taking care of her own puppies. It was a fantastic day and now she is still working every day with all 5 of her lovable puppies. The family started to flourish together, even through the rigorous ringworm treatment they receive, the pups are starting to truly know what it means to be a puppy. Running and frolicking, a week's worth of cuddles. Rescuers are over the moon the be seeing this family finally coming together. 

As of right now, Autumn is up for adoption on Lee Shore Rescue and if you or anyone you know is interested in adopting her please inquire on their website or Facebook page! The puppies will remain in the care of rescuers until they are through going through the treatments to ensure when they get adopted out they have all their hair and the ringworm is clear! This is a very happy story for a family that seems to have been almost left for dead! 

So, as always, there is no way this family could have been helped or even healthy with the amazing donors here on CUDDLY. Not only did they meet their entire fundraising goal, but they surpassed it! It is incredible that so many people came together to ensure the lives of such a beautiful young family. Nothing truly would ever get done with the team of rescuers and amazing donors who care more for things than themselves!
