Pablo is but a baby pup at only 4 months old. This sweet pit bull is so filled with hookworms that it caused a severe case of anemia, the anemia has caused this poor lover’s levels to get so low that his heart has a murmur now. Unable to help himself at all, this young dog is begging anyone to help him.
The owner of little Pablo took him to the vet but after the doctor's estimate, it was revealed he could not afford to help his puppy. Doctors quickly got ahold of rescuers at Saving Animal Lives 24/7 Rescue asking if they had any room to take in this little dude. Rescuers could not deny him, as he has so much life left to give, and told the vet to go through with blood transfusion in order to start treatments for hookworm. The doctors told the team of rescuers they did not think the murmur was previously there before the anemia meaning they think with enough treatments the murmur will disappear. Filled with hope, this little pup is happy and fun-loving even through all the pain and lethargy.
This precious boy was one of the thee worst cases of infection that the vet had ever seen and for a while, they weren’t sure if he was going to make it. His young age mixed with the severity of his illnesses painted a potentially devastating fate.
After many many vet appointments, treatments, and good care, we are SO happy to share that little Pablo is doing amazing!! He has felt so loved and spoiled and has been showered with gifts from his amazing donors. We truly believe that he gathered the strength to carry on and fight for his life because of the support he felt from his amazing gift-givers and donors!
He is now fully recovered AND *drum roll please*, he has been adopted! You can tell in the picture above how peaceful and happy he is to be in a good home, healthy and ready for life!
We don’t believe that we can say it enough but THANK YOU for your generosity and kindness to this sweet boy. You have completely transformed his life and we are so honored and grateful that we were able to be a part of the process! Thank you to CUDDLY for creating a platform that allows us to get stories like Pablo’s out there. We are feeling overwhelming thankful!
