Regal Georgia

We aren’t sure what Georgia's family thought when they decided to leave her behind. But we can be certain that Georgia was left confused, heartbroken, and wondering what she did to lose them. 

On top of the hurt she must be feeling, Georgia is also very sick. It appears that she had been neglected for a very, very long time. As a result of the severe neglect she’s endured, she is emaciated, her lymph nodes are enlarged, she is in advanced stages of heartworm, her paws are tender, she’s anemic, and her entire body is covered in a crusty substance.

After a good few months of care and love, this girl's life has completely turned around! What once was a sad, and the very sick puppy is now happy and on her way to a completely healthy young pup! Her journey hasn't been perfect and there have been times when her health has regressed, but this girl pushes on. She is a fighter through and through!

Her fur has begun growing back beautifully, her injuries and sickness have healed up- now we are just working on making sure her paws are good to walk on once again! It has been a long road of recovery for her but she has made it past all the odds.
