Stuart Little

Stuart Little was lying in the street nearly taking his last breath when animal control first picked him up. He was severely emaciated, covered in mange, had pale gums, and an open flesh wound on his head. He must have been in the streets for months as passersby's ignored him. This helpless boy was so weak he couldn't even raise his head. 

After hearing about his condition, we immediately went out to save Stuart Little from the shelter. The doctor confirmed that he was infested with both hookworms and roundworms. He also had an HCT percentage of only 11% compared to the normal percentage of 35% to 55%. This showed that his red blood cells were causing him to suffer from extreme anemia and dehydration. 

It took weeks of hard work and perseverance for this brave guy, but we are beyond excited to tell you that Stuart Little has gained the weight he needed and his coat is looking BEAUTIFUL. The good news doesn't stop there though. He has found his forever family! This sweet boy has been matched with an incredible family and will be spending the rest of his days basking in the love and warmth of his new home. 

We also wanted to take a moment and tell you all how grateful we are for your generosity. With the help of CUDDLY and CUDDLY donors, Stuart Little was able to raise $2,800 for his medical care and was sent over 50 gifts to help him in recovery, which is AMAZING! Being a non-profit organization, it's donations like these that drive us and help make happy ever afters like Stuart Little possible.
