Hart

Hart was found in shocking condition, filthy and caked in her own blood, after being dumped in the parking lot of a Jack in the Box in Palmdale. We aren't sure exactly what happened to her before she was rescued, but we are sure it wasn't good...

At just 4 months old Hart has suffered a traumatic injury to her head and face causing a severely broken jaw she can't open or close. It has gone untreated for so long her jaw just hangs there, is infected, and has lead to several rotten teeth that need to be pulled...

Hart's poor condition was heartbreaking to see, let alone watch her fight through all the odds to survive her crazy ordeal. We are so grateful to report back that this precious soul is doing SO WELL! She had jaw re-alignment surgery, some teeth pulled and now after a few months of wearing a brace, she is good to go!

After her procedures, she went into a good and loving foster home where they cared for her night and day. It seemed as if the love and appreciation were mutual since after she was fully recovered, the family decided that they couldn't part with her- and adopted her!

We were able to raise 100% of our financial goal for our sweet Hart, and we just couldn't believe it. She was being spoiled rotten by all the remote rescuers who played a part in her recovery journey. We cannot begin to say thank you enough to all of our generous donors AND to CUDDLY for providing a platform where we were able to get her story out there for people to see!
