Lady Fiona

When Lady Fiona was first brought into our care, she was suffering from an attack by a dog in her own backyard. She was left defenseless after being tied up and had to endure the agony of practically being eaten alive. 

Once Fiona was in the safety of our care we were able to get her a full medical workup where we discovered her injuries to be far worse than originally believed. She was covered from head to toe in lacerations, infested with ticks that slowly sucked the life out of her, and suffered from broken teeth and a broken jaw. However, her worst injury was the giant gash on her arm, the result of a vicious dog attack. It was clear right away that the injury would require amputation, this news broke our hearts but we had to do what was necessary to ensure the healing of our sweet Lady Fiona.

After the removal of our precious Fiona?s leg, she has never stopped flourishing. The surgery was a HUGE success and we were glad to have put the worst behind us! We were then able to focus on moving towards the recovery of her jaw and teeth, in addition to providing her with all the necessary vetting, all of which went great! The remainder of our time spent with Fiona consisted of constant checkups and monitoring to ensure her health was steady. She may have hit a few bumps along the way as she navigated life without her right leg, but her courage persisted to amaze us all.

Following some much-needed TLC, the next stop for Lady Fiona was her prosthetic, which was such an exciting time for us!! This brave girl learned to walk like a champion with her new pink leg and we loved every moment of it! We couldn't be more proud of the progress she made in her 10 MONTHS with us, it wasn't always easy but the wait was so worth the results! 

We are beyond thrilled to share with you the amazing news that our Lady Fiona is being ADOPTED, yes that's right, she has found her forever home! We can't think of a more deserving girl than our very own little lady! Our hearts are filled with joy for her and her new family! 

We also wanted to take a moment and tell you all how grateful we are for your generosity. With the help of CUDDLY and CUDDLY donors, Lady Fiona was able to raise over $6,000 for his medical care, which is INCREDIBLE. Being a non-profit organization, it's donations like these that drive us and help make happy ever afters like Lady Fiona's possible!
