Tegan

Precious Tegan is a 12-week old lab mix that suffered the wrath of her owner when, in her mind, she was just being a playful puppy.  While Tegan?s previous owner was taking a shower with her, she decided to play-bite him and his actions following are absolutely deplorable.  He grabbed her body and threw her into the wall which then caused her to actually try to bite him, with obvious reasoning.  Following that, the owner then decided to punch her in the head leaving her with a massive hematoma on the top of her head, as well as breaking her front leg?

Along with the trauma being reported, this sweet baby was rescued by Tails to the Wind All Animal Rescue, where she received care and a necessary leg amputation.  Everyone - donors and rescuers - came together to make magic happen for little Tegan!  We were able to raise enough funds on this CUDDLY platform to officially bring this girl through a full road to recovery.  Without your support, this would have never been made possible!  

Even better news, Tegan has been adopted! This family saw her story online and just had to meet her. When we met this wonderful family, we knew this was the perfect family for this pup. We are so happy that they both fell in love with her and wanted to make her part of their family!  Tegan?s new grandma came to meet her too and she too fell head over heels in love. She even gave Tegan a big kiss on the head and left a lipstick mark.
