Tasha

At only 5 months old; infected skin, malnourished and emaciated, weak. Was she abandoned or did she escape a life riddled with neglect? Mange doesn’t get this bad in a few weeks, so she’s likely spent most of her life like this... Meet Tasha. 

We are not sure exactly what happened to poor Tasha, but when Caitie's Foster Fam saw the photos of a stray pup that was picked up by Houston SPCA officers - they sprang into action. They were hooked and knew that they were going to be the perfect rescue for her!...

Our rescue worked overtime to get this sweet soul the care she so desperately needed and deserved. She was in such rough condition when we found her, that the idea of her being back on her feet and in good health is all that we could think about.

She began receiving the care that she needed. Medicated baths, proper nutrition, and quite a few other things and slowly but surely, we were able to see the transformation before our eyes, and boy- what a sight!

As you can see from the pictures above, she now has a sparkle in her eye and a vigor for life that she has never known! Her joy only grew as she found an amazing family to spend the rest of her life with! For the first time in her life, she felt loved and chosen. Our hearts couldn’t handle all the joy and happiness that came from the ending of this story.

We wouldn’t have been able to give her this fresh start without the help of our amazing and incredibly donors, and this CUDDLY platform. We were able to get the word out and bring in support that we otherwise wouldn’t have been able to access.
