Toto

“There’s no place like home, there’s no place like home, there’s no place like home.” unless you don’t have one, which was the case for Toto. He had a home but unfortunately, because of his urgent medical needs, they were not able to keep him in their care, so he was taken by animal control.

When our rescue first heard of his situation, we happily volunteered to take this precious boy in. We brought him to our vet to get a better understanding of what exactly was going on with this poor and emaciated boy. We then discovered that he was full of parasites and had a horrible mouth infection that was making it way too painful for him to eat. 

The vets believed that once his dental work was completed, he would have no problem getting back on his feet. Sadly, when going into surgery, it was discovered that Toto’s mouth issues were far worse than expected. The sweet boy was suffering from significant bone loss and a fracture in his jaw. With this new discovery, we weren’t sure what the days following would be like, but thankfully, with time and lots of love, Toto has been restored!

And…the most EXCITING thing has happened!! Toto has finally found a place to call home as he has now been ADOPTED! We could not be more excited for this deserving pup and all the adventures he’s about to embark on with his new family!
