Grover

Grover spent his days wandering the dangerous streets of a heartless Texas town, known for the hundreds of dogs that roam with no resources to help. During his time there, Grover was viciously attacked by a malicious dog that sought to end his life. And…If the attack weren’t bad enough, his body also shows signs of multiple other strikes by people who wanted these strays as far away from their homes as possible.

Grover was lucky to escape the attack with his life, as other pups have not shared that fate after encountering the same dog. How people could pass by, let alone abuse dogs like Grover is infuriating and something we will never be able to understand. 

Thankfully, Grover had a friend to watch out for him until we were able to get there, otherwise, it’s likely that he would have fallen victim to the cruelty that many dogs before him have. Most people in this town take care of the strays by either running them down with their cars or simply shooting, both of which are horrendous! After days of tending to this poor boy’s badly beaten body, he was finally able to receive his neuter surgery, putting him one step closer to getting adopted. 

Thankfully, with the successful neuter, he was able to head toward New York for adoption. And…we are so thrilled to announce that Grover has officially been ADOPTED! We are so excited about his new journey in a new city as he basks in the love of his family!
