Marty

After suffering a pelvic fracture all Marty wanted was love and care from his owners but instead, they dropped him off at a shelter while he cried out in pain. Not only did Marty have a pelvic fracture but he was also battling other medical issues and had severe matting.  The poor thing was so matted that the shelter had to shave down his face immediately due to how much torment it was causing him.  

Marty’s first few days with us were tedious as all he seemed to do was drag his body around because of the pelvic fracture. With no progress,  we determined that FHO surgery was the best course of action to give his hip some relief.  

After 8 weeks in our care, Marty has come such a long way! It was a challenge to keep him on crate rest to allow his pelvis to heal because he longed to run around and play. We were worried about letting him finally zip around…but after a few zoomies, we knew he was ready to find his forever family! 

With that said, we are so THRILLED to announce that little Marty has found his FOREVER FAMILY…that’s right, this boy has been ADOPTED! We are so excited that he has found a family to love him and cherish him the way he deserves! After surviving a traumatic injury and making a FULL recovery, he will now spend his days exploring, going on hikes, and being someone’s new best friend!
