Fortunately, little Nugget has done a complete 180 since his frightening first day at Willows Wings.

This poor senior guy was almost literally on his last leg when he was found stumbling across a hot Texas road with a shattered jaw and wounded leg. 

Sadly, Nugget's fractured jaw was not a new injury--doctors believe his jaw was shattered several years ago and he'd been living in pain ever since. Consequentially, his jaw was twisted and his shifted teeth grew in different directions. 

Worse still, little Nugget was suffering from a wounded leg that impaired his mobility and transformed his sickened body into a wobbling mess. 

We took this senior boy under our wing and provided him with plenty of love and medical care until we could raise enough donations for dental surgery to repair his broken jaw and twisted teeth.

Willows Wing is proud to announce that Nugget's surgery was a success! His transformation is so unbelievable that we almost didn't recognize him anymore. Nugget's shattered jaw is now safely and painlessly straight, and his disfigured teeth are no longer obstructing his mouth. 

In fact, Nugget is happy to be pain-free and loves to show off his beautiful new smile.

After years of horrifying torture, this senior dog deserves to live out his golden years in peace and happiness, with plenty of love and kisses along the way.
