Galileo

"For Galileo’s entire life, he spent every day wondering whether he would get fed or if the extreme itch he couldn’t scratch himself would ever be treated…but his longing always continued. 

Finally, this sweet boy simply couldn’t take it anymore and chewed through a wire tie-out to free himself from his suffering.  As he walked out onto the sidewalk searching for anything to fill his starving belly he stumbled across a nice man.  This man held Galileo close and made it his mission to find somewhere safe to take him and get him the desperate help he needed.  This is where we came in."...

Little did Galileo know that his life would indeed be changed forever. After bringing him into our care, we got to work on getting him back into shape and making sure he got the medical attention he so desperately needed. 

We had an amazing amount of support from people around the United States who decided that they wanted to be a part of this precious boy’s second chance. We were able to get his skin repaired, his teeth taken care of and he has gained a healthy amount of weight! 

An incredible day came when a family spotted Galileo and knew that he had to be theirs. He was adopted into an incredible family and he even has a fur sibling who has quickly become his very best friend! This is why we do what we do. Galileo’s life was completely restored by the generosity and kindness of so many of you, and giving the gift of life is one that you will never regret!
