"This little girl has a broken humerus and head trauma, likely from being hit by a car. She was at animal services and was set to be euthanized if she did not find rescue by the end of the day.

Named Clawdia, this baby is very, very unstable and I’m not sure she will make it. We are doing all we can though. It seems the meds Dr. Sabshin had us give her as a last resort helped as a few hours after they were administered she was awake and eating! She’s nowhere near out of the woods but we are thankful for her improvement."...

What a fighter! With all the odds stacked against her, Clawdia made an incredible recovery. That being said, it doesn’t mean that it was an easy one. After we scheduled the surgery for her leg, we were told by the vet that she no longer had feelings in that leg.

We decided the best move would be to cancel that surgery and schedule her for an amputation instead. This is not a decision that was made lightly, but it was her best chance at a good life.

Just as we suspected, this precious girl worked hard to acclimate to her new normal and she is now one happy kitty! She recovered incredibly, and the best news was that she has found her forever home! We are so thankful and so excited for this part of Clawdia’s journey.

Thank you for all your support and kindness towards this precious girl and her journey. Your kindness and generosity have meant the world, and given her a second chance at life! Another huge thank you to CUDDLY for providing a platform to get the word out!
