Braille

Thrown into a life of utter darkness the moment she took her first breath, little Braile had no choice but to wander the streets without the vital sense of sight to protect her from danger. 

After little Braille was found one Saturday night while wandering around someone's house, she was posted on Facebook in need of rescue. And as soon as we saw their plea, we instantly fell in love and offered to help the little kitten. Once she was in our care, we noticed that her eyes were pretty goopy, she was extremely malnourished and covered in fleas. But, it wasn't until we got her to the vet that we discovered the shocking truth that baby Braile had no eyes at all. 

With no eyes, dirt, litter, dust, and much more enter the sockets causing infections and the “goop.” But, because she was so small, we had to wait for her to get bigger and stronger before allowing her to undergo anesthesia for her eyes to be sewn shut. And in no time at all, little Braille began to make HUGE strides, gaining the weight and strength she needed to begin her next journey…a search for a forever family. 

With her adorable personality, this sweet girl didn't have to wait long as she soon found someone that fell in love with everything about her! And although she's still awaiting her surgery, she will now be able to do so in the home of her new family! We couldn't be more excited for the adventures she has ahead of her and we are confident she will experience nothing but love in her new life.

You have all taken a kitty who knew only utter darkness and given her a bright and beautiful future and we can't thank you enough! Baby Braille, we will miss seeing your precious face every day, but we are so EXCITED for all you have in store!
