Lucky Locks

Cats are not sufficient homeowners. To begin with, cats don't have jobs and can't afford to pay a mortgage, buy groceries, or maintain a property, which is why a Good Samaritan was shocked to find Lucky Locks trapped in an abandoned house without food, water, or affection.

We received a distressed call regarding a severely malnourished and emaciated cat and went to the house with the intention of offering medical treatment and food, but were saddened to find that the family had already abandoned the house and left Lucky Looks behind. 

While we don't know how long Lucky Looks had been suffering, he was rescued with a plethora of serious health complications that needed to be medically treated as soon as possible. On top of being dangerously malnourished and dehydrated, Lucky Looks had a severe skin infection, painful eye infection, and horrible upper respiratory infection. 

Thanks to the donations of our generous supporters, we were able to provide sweet Lucky Looks with the critical treatment, antibiotics, and medication he required to recover. He was put on a specialized diet and had his blood and platelette count checked on a regular basis. 

After endless suffering and essential treatment, little Lucky Looks' skin began to heal and his eyes recovered with the help of prescription eye drops. Today, Lucky Looks is healthier than ever and his blood glucose levels are finally back to normal. He is finally ready to be neutered and will go to his forever home in Iowa at the end of the month, arriving just in time to celebrate Christmas with his new family.
