Bobbi

Less than six months ago, senior cat Bobbi found herself lying in the parking lot of a local elementary school, all alone and desperately clinging on to life. For days, her meows for help went unanswered and her frail body was slowly shutting down. 

Her fate seemed sealed until an incredible man named Bob stumbled upon her and immediately rushed to her aid. Bob knew he couldn't leave Bobbi alone in pain, so he scooped her up and took her to Furgotten Dog Rescue. We were amazed that she had survived for so long in such a dire state, and we are determined to give her the best care possible. And so, we named her after her hero, Bob.

Bobbi's condition was critical, but her will to live was stronger than ever. She was barely five pounds, too weak to stand or even walk. She had severe nasal and eye discharge, and her temperature was dangerously low. The rescue team discovered that she had been front declawed, which must have caused her immense pain and discomfort. It was a miracle that she had survived this long.

We gave Bobbi the best care possible and syringe-fed her to ensure she got the nutrients she needed. Despite her age, estimated to be around 7-8 years old, Bobbi fought hard every day to get better. She gained a pound and a half of water weight, and her temperature rose from 96 to 100.6 degrees.

After being force-fed for weeks, Bobbi eventually began eating and drinking on her own. She is a fighter and her strong will to live has been a huge factor in her survival. Eventually, Bobbi was placed into an amazing foster home where she was spoiled and treated like a queen. 

Miraculously, Bobbi's health rapidly improved and she was finally adopted into her very own forever home. Bobbie is thriving with her new family and can even run up and down stairs without any pain or discomfort.
