This Guinea Pig Family

We have some wonderful news to share with you. All of the adult guinea pigs from this family, including Elvis and Eloise, were lovingly adopted. Thanks to you, they are experiencing the happily ever after they’ve always deserved. Sit back, relax, and allow this beautiful story to unfold.

A group of four guinea pigs was found abandoned on a trailer, trapped under the blazing sun. Heartbreaking, one of their siblings was already deceased, likely from the harsh, humid weather. There was even a loose dog who was trying to break into their cage and eat them! My, how afraid they must have been.

Thank goodness, a kind person eventually stumbled upon them. Their finder immediately gave us a call, hopeful that we could help. Despite being stretched thin and quite underfunded, we agreed to take in the surviving three. At the very least, we had to give these poor souls a chance.

Our team raced to save these sweet babies. We kept them nice and cool with lots of fluids. They were given hearty meals composed of fresh greens and hay, soft bedding, and a quiet, comforting space to decompress. Soon, we realized that one was pregnant, and later gave birth to some sweet babies.

After a few months spent supporting these guinea pigs, they were healthy enough to seek a loving home. To our absolute joy, they were lovingly adopted by families that would always keep them safe. By then, the babies were eight weeks old and would be ready for their next chapters incredibly soon.
