Edwin

When Edwin was discovered as a stray, his condition was heartbreaking. He was buried under layers of matted fur so thick that he couldn't see or move properly. His nails had grown into the pads, causing him immense pain. His paw pads were sore and inflamed. Edwin was a little senior shih tzu hidden beneath all that neglect, yearning for love and care. 

Determined to turn his life around, our team sprang into action. Edwin needed urgent grooming, but his condition was so severe that he had to be sedated. As we carefully removed the mats, we uncovered the true Edwin—a sweet, resilient pup who deserved a second chance at happiness.

One of our staff members felt an instant connection with Edwin and offered to foster him. Despite his initial days being quiet and subdued due to the sedation and pain medication, Edwin slowly started to come out of his shell. A visit to the vet revealed that he suffered from severe hip dysplasia, causing him discomfort and difficulty walking. Additionally, Edwin was going blind and had impaired hearing. But despite his challenges, Edwin's spirit remained unbroken.

Edwin began to thrive with the dedicated care and love of his foster family. He enjoys soaking up the sun, indulging in chicken nuggets, and relishing pup cups. Every day is a new adventure for Edwin, filled with the joy and love that he has missed for so long.

Despite his health issues, Edwin is finding happiness in life's simplest pleasures. His resilience inspires everyone around him, and soon, we hope that this sweet boy Edwin will capture the heart of a family ready to give him a forever home.
