Noah

We first found precious Noah in December 2023, trembling alone in the dirt and searching for even a morsel of sustenance. He was a mere skeleton, struggling to walk or even hold himself up. Weighing a heartbreaking two pounds, this fully grown Chihuahua resembled a mere 12-week-old pup.

In all of our years, we have never seen a dog so fragile and small. Each step he took was a painful battle as his spine curled from sheer weakness. He trembled profusely as vicious chills ran up and down his delicate body, which struggled to regulate his temperature. Truthfully, we weren’t sure whether he would survive, but we remained hopeful, nonetheless. 

Gaining Noah's trust was the first miracle. The moment he was okay with us, we hastily, yet gingerly, brought him to our rescue. Once we had him in our care, we immediately provided him with the best nourishment for his frail body. He enjoyed bone broths, high-quality wet food, and immune supplements. Remarkably, Noah began to show signs of improvement. He started eating four meals a day and relished the smoothie sticks that were graciously donated from CUDDLY! 

Noah's progress was closely monitored by our trusted vet, Dr. Kimmel. Under careful guidance, this sweet boy gradually started gaining weight and strength. The day that he came for a weigh-in and we realized he had gained a pound felt like a grand victory! As the weeks passed, he transformed from a trembling shell of himself to a lively and happy dog, thankful for every nutritious meal and cozy gift sent his way. We are absolutely amazed at how quickly he progressed!

As incredible gifts from CUDDLY began pouring in throughout the months, Noah was living his absolute best life, cuddled in his cozy bed with blankets, toys, and his favorite treats. These simple luxuries were once unimaginable for him, but thanks to YOU, he was enjoying a dream come true.

With his body adequately nourished, he was soon neutered, and vets administered his necessary vaccinations. At this point, he was an entirely different pup; it was difficult to remember what he looked like when we first found him! But he had made it, and his path to recovery was nearly over. The next and final step in his journey was finding his forever home!

We excitedly posted a short, heartwarming video of Noah at the vet, which quickly went viral! The applications for Noah's adoption poured in soon after, and he went through many meet-and-greets to find the perfect family. Finally, after careful selection, Noah found his forever home with Treya and his big sister named Daisy, securing a life full of love and joy! Noah's transformation has truly been extraordinary, but it couldn’t have been possible without help from our wonderful community.
