Stitch

Stitch was once a one-month-old kitten tormented by fleas on the side of the road. His journey from a fragile, underweight baby to a playful, healthy boy now relishing in his forever home is nothing short of miraculous. Read on to take in his heartwarming story! 

Stitch’s start to life was far from easy. At barely one month old, he was found all alone, crying pitifully for help. He was swiftly picked up and taken to Finally Home Animal Haven, where every measure was taken to nurse him back to health. He was so young, so fragile, and needed all the comfort and nourishment he could get to make it through! 

The first step in Stitch’s recovery was addressing his critical condition. His distended belly signaled nutritional deficiencies and an infestation of fleas that left him anemic and lethargic. We went through the meticulous process of removing each and every flea to relieve him of his discomfort. But we just felt so sad for this little baby and the difficult journey he had thus far.  We were determined to ensure his future was filled with nothing except pure happiness!

Once stabilized, Stitch underwent a comprehensive veterinary examination. The medical team conducted extensive blood tests and nutritional assessments to develop a treatment plan aligned with his needs. Stitch's road to recovery involved a rigorous feeding plan that provided him with the strength he so badly lacked. Over time, he began to grow into a healthy and happy kitten. He is just the cutest thing! 

As weeks passed, Stitch’s transformation was undeniable. From a lethargic and defeated kitten, he became a playful whirlwind. He explored his surroundings with newfound curiosity and engaged in the simple joys of playing and pouncing on toys. At 14 weeks, Stitch was more than ready to find his forever home among kind people who would always keep him safe.

Stitch’s story came full circle when Kate caught sight of him and immediately fell in love. She lovingly adopted the precious baby and welcomed him into a family that included an equally playful young cat named Charlie. We are beyond excited for the adventures to begin as Stitch begins his beautiful new chapter!
