Once plagued by a devastating leg injury, Olive is now fully healed and relishing the love and safety of her forever home. She has transformed right before our eyes, and we couldn't be more happy for her! Read on to learn about her recovery journey and her path to a happy, forever home.

This tiny girl was found wandering the streets with a shattered leg. Still, we have no idea what happened to her and why she ended up in this horrible state. Had she once belonged to a home? Why was she out there, all alone? Pain coursed through her with every step as she cried out for help. Thankfully, a kind person caught sight of her and picked her up, rushing her to our rescue without a moment to waste.

Upon her arrival, we were amazed to see that Olive, despite the pain, was so full of life. She wagged her tail happily, grinning wildly. But within her eyes, it was clear that she was in pain and had been for quite some time. At the vet, we were informed that Olive had a comminuted fracture in her right front leg, indicating the bone had broken into multiple pieces. This leads us to believe that she was possibly struck by a car. We felt so sorry for her, but at least she was now safe with us.

Our veterinarian team immediately performed surgery to mend her broken leg. Following this was an extensive recovery process, but Olive conquered it like a champ. All she wanted to do was run freely and play—she couldn’t wait to break free! In time, her staples were removed, and she was transferred to a partner rescue so that she could set out to find her forever home!

Finally, after months of loving care, Olive was adopted by an amazing family! Her playful spirit and charm won their hearts, and they have been showering her with toys and treats, thrilled to welcome her into their home. We are so happy for Olive, elated at the thought of her being cherished forever. After so much time spent in pain, she deserves this.
