Luna

Sweet Luna is living her dream life in the UK with the most wonderful family. But before we celebrate her, let’s delve back into the painful past that brought her to where she is today. 

As a young, spirited puppy, Luna was purchased as a pet. But her former family saw her only as an “annoyance”. Whenever she tried to play, they crammed her in a crate, trying their best to forget her existence. Neglected even of the most basic of medical treatment, her body began to fall apart. Eventually, they decided they wanted nothing more to do with her and cast her to the rooftop, slamming the door shut.

By the time Luna was found, she was no more than skin and bones, and her soul was broken. She was sprawled out along the dirty rooftop, entirely alone. Her face was stained with tears as she shuddered with fear. Our rescue team got her out of there immediately, rushing her to the vet for emergency treatment. Upon arrival, labs and tests were run, revealing shocking news: Luna was suffering from blood parasites, worms, and malnutrition.

Luna was placed on a healthy diet and administered crucial medications. Our team showered her with love, which she had likely never truly known. She was given lots of snuggles, cuddles, and a warm bed to sleep on. Day by day, she began to improve, learning how to trust humans again. Once she was well enough, she was spayed, and her necessary vaccinations were given. 

Incredible CUDDLY donations continued pouring in, helping us continue her treatment. And then, the beautiful day came when Luna had an opportunity to fly to the UK! Your generous contributions made it possible for her to find her forever home. Now, as we type this, Luna has fully recovered and is living it up with amazing people who will ALWAYS keep her safe.
