Saint

We are elated to share that following months of treatment, care, and support, Saint has been lovingly adopted. Finally, he can relax and relish the good life he deserves. Surrounded by comfort, love, and endless affection, he will always be safe. But his life didn’t start out this way.

Poor Saint was discovered running through the streets of Egypt, desperate for a meal. His stomach cramped with hunger pangs—he hadn’t eaten in days. He was so hungry that when he noticed a bowl of freshly-prepared food, he didn’t hesitate to gobble it up.

A cruel human, catching sight of this event, strode right up to Saint and hacked off his leg with a knife. All because Saint was hungry! The poor boy collapsed on the streets, whimpering. Everyone stood around, their mouths agape with utter shock. Fortunately, a kind-hearted individual quickly contacted our rescue, and we rushed over to help.

We whisked Saint to the emergency vet, where the staff began treatment right away. The journey wouldn’t be easy, but we stood by Saint’s side every moment. His wound was carefully tended to and bandaged, and he was given a steady stream of pain relief. We did everything we could to soothe him during this hardship. The pain he felt… we couldn’t even comprehend it.

Smack-dab in the middle of his recovery journey, our rescue became overwhelmed with fleas and ticks. Sadly, Saint was one of the victims, so we raced to free him from the nasty parasites. Over time, the problem cleared, and Saint’s leg continued to heal. Despite everything he had gone through, the brave boy was standing strong, ready to face whatever obstacle came next.

Months later, an opportunity came: Saint was able to fly to the UK in search of his forever home. Thanks to YOUR incredible donations, we raised enough money to make that possible. Soon after, he was adopted—how could anyone NOT fall in love with such an adorable pup? We are just so endlessly happy for him.

Your kindness made this possible. Thank you so much for making such an amazing impact on this precious boy, who never deserved to go through this in the first place.
