We are overjoyed to share that Aziza has finally found her forever family! This resilient girl is now living her best life in the USA. But before we celebrate her happy ending, we want to take a moment to reflect on the heartbreaking journey that brought her here, because Aziza didn’t just survive… she fought for every second of her second chance.

Aziza was discarded by the very people who were supposed to love her. Alone and vulnerable, she became the target of unimaginable cruelty. A group of unsupervised neighborhood children brutally attacked her for fun. They beat her relentlessly, showing no mercy as they struck her tiny, defenseless body over and over. One of her eyes ruptured from the trauma, and her leg was left shattered.

When rescuers found her, the sight was almost too much to bear. Her eye was destroyed, her body trembling from pain, and her spirit barely hanging on. Yet somehow, through the agony, Aziza let out soft, desperate mews—her last, fragile plea for help.

She was rushed into emergency surgery to remove her damaged eye and try to save her leg. The operation was grueling, and the road ahead looked steep, but against all odds, Aziza pulled through. We knew the light at the end of this dark tunnel was waiting—we just had to get her there.

For months, Aziza fought with everything she had. Each day of her recovery was a battle—bandage changes, medications, gentle feedings, and constant care. But little by little, she began to heal. And then, finally, the day came: Aziza got her second chance. A loving adopter in Baltimore had opened their heart to her—all we had to do was get her home.

Just when we thought her journey was nearly over, Aziza hit one last bump in the road: ringworm. But even that couldn’t stop her. With a few more weeks of treatment, she beat it—just like she had beaten everything else. In January, Aziza boarded her long-awaited freedom flight to America. When she landed, she was welcomed with open arms by the family she was always meant to have.

Now, Aziza’s days are filled with snuggles, love, and more toys than she knows what to do with. She’s finally living the life she’s always deserved, and it’s all because of you. To every person who donated, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You made Aziza’s journey possible!
