Yoshi
Today, our hearts are overflowing with joy and love for Yoshi. This precious boy has finally found his forever home! This moment is huge—and it means even more when you know the story behind it…
When we first found Yoshi, his muzzle was bound with duct tape. He was starved down to the bone, unable to eat, drink, or defend himself. At the vet, we were shocked to learn that Yoshi was battling an upper respiratory infection. He was struggling to breathe even without the duct tape wrapped around his mouth. His oxygen levels were dangerously low, and the fluid in his lungs had transformed into full-blown pneumonia.
Another rescue graciously supplied an oxygen tank so we could transport Yoshi to an emergency vet. There, Yoshi bravely underwent oxygen therapy, consistent nebulizer treatments, and life-saving medications. He began a refeeding program to help him safely gain weight. His health was delicate, but he was stable.
For months, Yoshi stayed with a wonderful vet tech who poured hours into his monitoring and care. Through it all, Yoshi had an incredible community of animal lovers rallying around him, rooting for his recovery and sending healing gifts.
Somehow, despite everything, Yoshi never lost his sweetness. He is a testament to the capacity for love that dogs possess, even after experiencing such horrific treatment. As the weeks passed, Yoshi slowly grew stronger. His breathing became easier. His once-frail frame began to look sturdier. Before we knew it, this precious pup was ready to find his forever home.
And now, the news we’ve been itching to share. Today, Yoshi has joined his new family! We can’t wait to watch his life unfold in all the beautiful ways he was made for. His best chapter starts now, and it’s full of belly rubs, couch snuggles, and joy. You made it, sweet boy. And it only gets better from here.
Thanks to donations from countless members of the CUDDLY community, our team was able to give Yoshi the medical attention, nutritious food, and restorative medicine that he needed to heal from the abuse he endured. His recovery and adoption wouldn’t have been possible without YOUR support. We can’t thank you enough.
