Patty

We are thrilled to share that Patty has been adopted! But before we celebrate, we want to take a moment to reflect on how Patty got to where she is today, because her journey has been anything but easy.

Patty survived the unsurvivable. Only months old, this tiny kitten was the victim of a ruthless act of cruelty. A cruel human drove a three-inch knife into her body. When we found her, a violent infection had already begun to take hold. Her festering wound was worsening by the second, and without immediate medical attention, Patty wouldn’t last much longer.

Not only was Patty starving, weak, and wounded, but she was also missing an eye. The traumatic injury she endured put a tremendous amount of stress on her body, leading her to develop a severe respiratory infection. For a while, Patty’s condition was touch-and-go, but we knew there was a light at the end of this very long tunnel—we just had to keep going.

Thanks to the support of our wonderful CUDDLY community, Patty was able to receive her life-saving surgeries for both her stab wounds and her eye. Only then was she able to begin her long road to recovery. Slowly but surely, Patty regained her strength. Her transformation was nothing short of remarkable! While continuing to heal, Patty enjoyed plenty of cuddles from our staff while she waited for the day her forever family would walk through the doors…little did she know, Patty had already met her family.

Patty was adopted by one of our loving volunteers— the very people who have been doting on her since the day she arrived. This adoption is nothing short of beautiful and meaningful. Patty found safety, trust, and compassion in her adopters' care, and now, she has a forever home where she will continue to be cherished beyond measure.
