Frankie

We have some BIG news that we’re overjoyed to share… Frankie has been adopted! Some of our followers may remember the severely neglected pup that we took in last January. Well, Frankie is all healed up and surrounded by a family who showers him with the love, devotion, and expert care he always deserved. This happy ending is beautiful on its own, but it’s even more meaningful when you know just how far Frankie has come.

When our team first met Frankie, his health was a nightmare. Whether from a lack of resources or just pure neglect, Frankie’s owners ignored their pup’s ever-worsening condition. His nails were so overgrown that they circled back into his paws, piercing the skin and making walking nearly impossible. Frankie shook his head nonstop as agonizing ear infections tormented him. His skin was red and raw from bacterial infections. And even worse, a severe UTI left Frankie urinating puddles of blood. His situation was grim, and we weren’t sure what his recovery would look like.

But hope arrived, little by little, as donations and gifts began trickling in. Frankie’s skin began to clear up, and his ear infections began to heal. With plenty of antibiotics and care, Frankie’s UTI disappeared. These were HUGE victories for a dog who had faced such severe neglect.

To everyone who donated to Frankie’s care, THANK YOU! Your support is what made Frankie's tremendous recovery possible. And now, the happiest chapter of all: Frankie has officially been adopted! He’s thriving with his new family in Washington, in a home where he’s safe, cherished, and never overlooked. Frankie’s family went above and beyond for his medical needs, taking him to specialists and providing all the care and attention he was previously denied.

These days, Frankie’s favorite pastime is hanging out in the kitchen, keeping a close eye on his humans while they cook—just in case a tasty treat happens to fall his way.
