Nicholas

 We have big news! Nicholas has found his forever home, and it’s all because of your generous support. After a long and hard-fought journey, this brave boy is finally healed, and we’re ready to celebrate. But before we do, let’s take a moment and reflect on the road that got him here.

Nicholas’s journey began on the hot streets of Hargill, Texas. This tiny boy was alone and fighting his hardest to survive with no mother, food, water, shelter, or littermates—he was all alone, and barely holding on. It’s a miracle we found him when we did. 

Once in the safety of our care, we began pouring our resources into Nicholas’s treatment. He was fighting a severe upper respiratory and eye infection, and he was so weak he could barely hold the weight of his own body. Our dedicated team fed him by hand every four hours, flooding his body with the vital nutrition he needed to thrive. Even then, his future was uncertain. 

After weeks of intensive and critical care, Nicholas began to turn a corner. Slowly but surely, he began to put on weight, and his personality began to grow as well. The shy and timid kitten that once was melted away, revealing a curious, playful, and lovable soul. We knew that there was a light at the end of this very long tunnel; we just had to get him there.  

Before we could begin the search for his forever home, Nicholas hit one more major speed bump when he developed a case of ringworm. Scrambling, our team scrounged up the funds we needed to cover the cost of his treatment. We were determined to see this boy through with his care, no matter the cost. 

Finally, the glorious day came when Nicholas was adopted! This sweet kitty made his way all the way to Wisconsin, where his forever family was waiting with open arms. This journey has been nothing short of miraculous, and we couldn’t be more proud of Nicholas. 

None of this could have been possible without the support of our wonderful CUDDLY community. Because of you, Nicholas is enjoying the couch cuddles he deserves and more treats than he will know what to do with. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for making this miracle happen!
