Marmalade

This gentle boy is soaking up life in a loving home, and we couldn’t be happier for him. From the moment we met him, we knew he’d make the perfect addition to any family. And to our absolute joy, we were right. He is settling into his new life and routine, finally free from the pain he endured for so long.

About a month ago, we found Marmalade wandering the streets all by himself. His mouth was filled with painful teeth that needed to be urgently extracted. We had no idea how long he had been suffering like this—we just hoped it wasn’t for very long. Hurriedly, we took him in under our wing and drove straight to the vet. We didn’t care how much it cost; we were committed to giving Marmalade the care he deserved.

By the look of Marmalade’s eased, friendly demeanor, it was clear that he once had a home. What happened? Did they just throw him out when he became too much? We don’t understand how someone could have done such a thing. Regardless, Marmalade was safe with us now. We would do whatever it took to turn his life around so that he’d never know pain or abandonment like that again.

His total dental bill was over $400—a massive price to pay for this sweet boy’s health. But he was worth every penny. Slowly but surely, he was on the mend. Over the next few days, we sat by his side, showering him with tender loving comfort and letting him recover at his own steady pace. As he began to feel better, he showcased his lively, friendly personality. Marmalade had a golden spirit, and we couldn’t wait to witness his next beautiful chapter unfold.

Not long after his dental procedure, the most wonderful people stepped in to claim Marmalade as their own. Our beloved kitty is now a cherished member of their family. We couldn’t have made this happen without you. Thank you so much for your kindness throughout all of this, and for giving this formerly-lost soul a chance.
