Our Food Drive
We sent out a plea for help, and our loyal CUDDLY community came to the rescue—yet again. We couldn’t be more grateful for your continued support. Your kindness has proved to us that we’re not alone in our efforts to save lives in need. There are so many compassionate people out there, willing to give selflessly to the senior dogs who depend on us.
We were in the midst of a crisis. We were scared. Petrified, more like. We were down to the last new bags of food, the lowest supply we’d ever seen. The food would only last us eight days, tops. We had no idea what would happen when we ran out entirely. Would our rescue close intakes? Would we have to shut our doors forever? We certainly couldn’t let our dogs go hungry. But what else were we supposed to do?
At this time, we had 53 senior dogs in our care. All of them have various health conditions that require a specialized diet to support their golden years. Their gleaming eyes, wagging tails, and love-filled barks fill our sanctuary with unmatched joy, but the sight of our dwindling food stock brought a cloud of worry. The specialized food was costly, but necessary. Our heads were crowded with doubt.
We created a CUDDLY fundraiser just in case. We held onto the hope that kind souls would stumble upon our story and consider extending a generous hand. We weren’t for certain, but we had to try. And, to our amazement, the donations rolled in. The food was swiftly delivered. All of our fears went out the window as we leaped for joy. We were astounded, truly, that you stepped in so quickly.
Thanks to your contributions, we've been able to provide these furry friends with the love, care, and attention they deserve. Your support not only filled their bowls but also gave them a chance at wonderful golden years ahead!
We are deeply grateful for your ongoing support and faith in our cause. Your contributions are more than just donations; they are acts of kindness that ripple out, touching the lives of so many. Thank you for standing up for us in our time of need and continuing to support the precious animals in our care.
