This sweet girl is thriving in a warm, loving foster home, showering her people with snuggles and kisses. Her tail wags with joy, and she’s finally living the life every dog deserves. But it wasn’t long ago that her future looked heartbreakingly different.

We first heard about Mamacita through a desperate rescue plea from a municipal shelter. This precious pup was slated for euthanasia with only days left to live. The shelter staff adored her and didn’t want to see her life cut short, but their space and resources had run out. As much as we wanted to bring Mamacita into our care immediately, we knew we didn’t have the funds to give her everything she needed to start over.

So, we turned to the incredible CUDDLY community for help, and you delivered! Overnight, your generosity poured in. Because of you, we were able to call the shelter and tag Mamacita before racing out to pick her up. She hopped into our car with tail wags and bright eyes, as if she knew her life was changing forever.

Once in her foster home, Mamacita was finally able to relax. The stress melted from her body as she curled up on her first soft bed, sighing deeply in comfort. She showed her gratitude in the sweetest ways, like pressing close for cuddles, covering her foster family in kisses, and following them from room to room.

Thanks to your kindness, Mamacita received her full vetting, vaccines, preventatives, and every essential care item she could need while she waits for her forever family. And now, the news we’ve been waiting to share—Mamacita is officially available for adoption!

We know this loving, gentle girl will make the perfect companion. Her journey from the brink of euthanasia to a safe, happy home is proof of what compassion can do.
