We have the BEST news—our sweet boy Dipper has officially been adopted! He’s settling into his new home beautifully, and we couldn’t be more thrilled for this next chapter in his life. But before we break out the confetti, we just wanted to take a moment to look back on the obstacles he had to overcome.

It all began when another rescue organization reached out to us for help with two hurting pups. Without hesitation, we said yes. That’s how Dipper and his sister, Mabel, came into our care. But just days later, things took a frightening turn. Both pups suddenly fell gravely ill. At first, we feared it was Parvovirus, but testing ruled that out. Mabel recovered quickly, but Dipper’s condition only worsened. His body wasn’t responding to treatment, and we knew something more serious was at play.

After countless tests, the heartbreaking truth came to light: Dipper was suffering from a dangerous condition called Intussusception, which is when the intestines fold in on themselves. Without immediate emergency surgery, he wouldn’t survive. Our rescue wasn’t in a financial position to cover such a costly procedure on our own, so we turned to the CUDDLY community for help. And you answered, without hesitation.

Because of your generosity, Dipper was able to get the surgery that saved his life. After the operation, he had a long road to recovery, but he was surrounded by love every step of the way. His foster family made sure he had a warm, cozy bed to rest in, nourishing food to help him regain his strength, and the gentle care he needed to heal. Slowly but surely, Dipper’s spark returned.

Weeks later, the moment we had all been waiting for finally came—Dipper was healthy enough to be adopted. It didn’t take long for someone special to meet him and instantly fall in love. After everything he had endured, this brave boy had finally found the safe, loving home he had always deserved.
