Rescuers can hardly believe it—Nágila has been adopted! After nearly losing her life giving birth, this devoted mama poured every ounce of love into raising her puppies. One by one, her little ones were adopted into families of their own… and now, the best news of all: Nágila herself has finally found a forever home. For more than 24 hours, Nágila labored alone on the streets—exhausted, in agony, and still without delivering a single pup. With her unborn puppies in distress, time was running out.

When rescuers received the urgent call, they rushed to her side. Locals shared that this wasn’t her first tragic delivery—she had previously given birth to 11 puppies, none of whom survived. Determined not to let history repeat itself, her care team rushed her into emergency surgery.

A c-section was Nágila’s only chance. Eight puppies were delivered, though one had already passed away. The rest survived, but Nágila was so weak and swollen that she couldn’t nurse. Without hesitation, rescuers stepped in, bottle-feeding the fragile newborns around the clock.

For months, both Nágila and her babies fought to heal. Once they were strong enough and vaccinated, each puppy found a loving family. Yet the question lingered: would Nágila herself ever be chosen?

Too often, mama dogs are overlooked. But then, her day finally came. After being spayed, vaccinated, and dewormed, Nágila was welcomed into a wonderful family with open arms!
