Creed

We can hardly believe we’re saying this—Creed has found his forever family! After everything he’s endured, this brave boy is finally safe and loved beyond measure. His story has been one of pain and perseverance, and we couldn’t be more grateful to everyone who made his miracle possible. Let’s take a moment to look back at how far Creed has come.

When Creed first arrived at the shelter, he was barely clinging to life. His owner surrendered him for “not eating,” but the reality was far more devastating. Creed was severely emaciated, his body score just 1.5 out of 5. His ribs and spine jutted out beneath patchy, irritated skin. His body told a story of long-term suffering and neglect. This gentle soul was timid, trembling from both weakness and fear.

Once under the care of Hannah’s Southern Paws, Creed’s heartbreaking condition came into full view. The vets discovered that chemical burns had dissolved his paw pads and scarred the underside of his body. He suffered from a heavy parasite load and a painful UTI. Every inch of him needed healing. Our team started Creed on a delicate re-feeding plan to prevent his frail body from shutting down as we provided specialized treatments to soothe his wounds. Through it all, Creed remained trusting, even when he had every reason not to be.

And then, the smallest signs of hope began to shine through. Within his first week, Creed started gaining healthy weight. His skin began to heal. Most beautiful of all, he started smiling—curling up one side of his lip every time his foster mom came to check on him. He’d lounge in the sunshine, eyes half-closed, soaking up the peace he had never known before. Day by day, the light began returning to his eyes, and it was all thanks to the love and support from our team and this CUDDLY community.

A few months later, Creed was back at the vet. This time, not for an emergency, but for his final check-up and health certificate. The scale read 39 pounds, up from the heartbreaking 23 pounds he weighed when he first arrived. This once-broken pup now had strength in his stride and hope for his future. We could hardly contain our pride as we watched him wag his tail through the clinic doors, ready for his next big adventure.

Today, Creed is officially in the loving arms of his forever family. He’s already bonded deeply with his new dad and is finally getting the unconditional love he always deserved. From a dog whose body was dissolving beneath him to one who now runs and plays, Creed’s transformation is nothing short of miraculous. To everyone who contributed to his care, thank you.
