Today, we have the BEST news to share with you—sweet Enzo has officially been adopted! The fragile, starving puppy who once struggled to stand is now strong, healthy, and surrounded by a family who adores him. His transformation is nothing short of remarkable, and knowing where he started makes his happy ending even more meaningful. But this brave boy’s journey has been anything but easy. Let’s take a moment to reflect on how Enzo made it to this incredible new chapter. 

Enzo endured cruelty no living being should ever experience. This young pup had been starved. We believe he may have been trapped in a crate so small he couldn’t even move, forced to live in his own urine and feces. When he arrived at the vet’s office, he was coated in filth, crawling with fleas, and so saturated in waste that his skin was raw and burned from urine scalding. Every inch of him told the story of a puppy who had been forgotten, neglected, and denied even the basic kindness every living being deserves.

Even more heartbreaking was learning that Enzo was technically an owner surrender. His former owner claimed they had found him as a “stray” three days earlier—a story no one believed for a moment. Enzo’s condition made it painfully clear that his suffering had been ongoing, not recent. Thankfully, Animal Control began investigating his case as a suspected incident of animal cruelty.

Despite all he endured, Enzo never stopped fighting. He clung to life with a determination far beyond his tiny four-month-old body. And because of that strength, and the outpouring of compassion from people like you, he slowly began to heal. 

And then, the moment we had prayed for came. After several months of agonizing healing, Enzo met the family who would change his life forever. They welcomed him into their home, committed to giving him everything he had been denied—safety, affection, consistency, and joy!

Today, Enzo is thriving. He has gained healthy weight, his coat is shining, and his spirit is brighter than ever. And none of this would have happened without YOU. 

Your generosity took Enzo from fighting for his life to living the life he always deserved. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for believing in him, supporting his recovery, and helping us write the ending he was robbed of at the beginning of his life.
