We can hardly believe we are writing this. Our sweet Zoey has completely healed, and she’s officially found her forever family! After everything this tiny girl endured at just three months old, seeing her happy, healthy, and loved feels nothing short of miraculous. Today, we get to celebrate the ending she always deserved. Let’s take a look at how far this brave pup has come.

When Zoey first arrived at our rescue, she was barely recognizable. Her frail body was ravaged by a painful skin condition. She was covered in cracked, bleeding scabs from head to toe. Emaciated, anemic, and exhausted, she lay curled up in her kennel, too weak to even lift her head. It was immediately clear that she had been suffering for far too long, and without urgent intervention, we knew she might not survive. 

We rushed Zoey to the hospital, where vets confirmed she was critically anemic and in desperate need of stabilization. With fluids, nourishment, medication, and around-the-clock care, Zoey’s fight for survival began. Her condition was touch-and-go for a long time, but she held on like the resilient girl she is.

And then… something incredible happened. Slowly but surely, Zoey began to heal. Her skin started to calm. The scabs faded. Tiny patches of fur appeared for the first time. With each passing day, her strength grew, and her spirit followed. Thanks to the overwhelming generosity of the CUDDLY supporters who rallied around her, Zoey received everything she needed to keep moving forward.

Before long, the transformation was undeniable. Zoey’s coat grew back soft and full, her eyes brightened, and her once-fragile body grew strong. She made new friends, soaked up affection, and finally got to experience what it means to feel safe and cherished. The broken puppy we once cradled in our arms had blossomed into a joyful, confident dog.

And now, the best news of all—Zoey is HOME. She’s been adopted by a loving family who adores her and will cherish her forever. This Christmas, Zoey slept in her own bed, surrounded by love and warmth. To everyone who believed in her, donated, shared her story, and helped carry her through her darkest days, thank you.
