Ginny
We are overjoyed to share the happiest news: sweet Ginny has been adopted! After everything this girl endured, she is now safe, loved, and home for good. This incredible ending was only possible because of the compassion and generosity of our donors, whose support gave Ginny the chance to survive, heal, and experience the love she always deserved.
It’s nothing short of a miracle that Ginny is alive today, let alone safe, healthy, and loved. At just five weeks old, she was found trapped inside a car engine, the scorching metal burning her ear and leg as she cried out for help. Instead of being rushed to safety, she was pulled free and cruelly left on a stranger’s porch, near lifeless.
Thankfully, that homeowner acted immediately, bringing Ginny inside and reaching out for help. By pure chance, one of our volunteers saw the post and knew we had to step in.When Ginny came into our care, her injuries were devastating. She had a completely broken femur, a shattered tail, deep lacerations, and a badly burned ear. She was so small and fragile that surgery wasn’t immediately an option.
Week after week, Ginny endured countless bandage and splint changes, frequent recheck appointments, and careful monitoring as she slowly grew stronger. There were moments filled with uncertainty, but Ginny never stopped fighting. Against the odds, sensation returned to her leg, her injuries healed beautifully, and she was able to avoid additional major surgeries.
As her body healed, her spirit blossomed. Ginny transformed from a critically injured kitten into a playful, curious, and affectionate little girl. By the time she completed her vetting, she was thriving, and it was clear she was ready for the next chapter of her life.
And then came the moment we’d all been hoping for: Ginny was adopted just in time for the holidays. She spent them exactly where she belongs—warm, cherished, and surrounded by love in her forever home.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to every single person who donated, shared Ginny’s story, and kept her in their thoughts. Your kindness covered her medical care, bandage changes, follow-up X-rays, and everything she needed to not only survive, but truly thrive. Ginny’s happy ending is your doing, and we are endlessly grateful.
