Solange is home.

This precious senior girl now wakes up in a safe, quiet space beside a mom who absolutely adores her. She has soft bedding instead of scorching pavement, gentle hands instead of indifference, and a full heart where fear once lived. She is cherished, protected, and finally living the life every senior dog deserves.

It’s hard to believe that not long ago, Solange was found hiding beneath parked cars, trying to escape the relentless heat that made every breath a struggle. Her tiny body was trapped beneath layers of severely matted fur, compacted so tightly that it held the heat against her fragile skin. She was exhausted, flea-infested, and silently enduring advanced grade-3 periodontal disease that left her in constant pain. 

But everything changed the moment she was rescued.

With your support, Solange received the professional grooming she desperately needed, freeing her from the painful mats that pulled at her skin. She began parasite treatment, veterinary care, vaccinations, and the dental support necessary to relieve her daily discomfort. As the weight of neglect was lifted, her true spirit began to shine. Beneath it all was a gentle, loving soul who had never stopped wanting to trust.

Day by day, she grew stronger and more confident. And then, the most beautiful chapter of all began...she was adopted.

Today, Solange is safe and loved. She is someone’s whole world.
