We have amazing news. Marshmallow is now soaking up all the love he could possibly get with a forever family. Read his transformation below!

When Marshmallow was first found behind a Tractor Supply, shivering and crying in the cold, it was clear this tiny kitten needed more than just shelter; he needed help. He was born with a bifid nose, stenotic nares, and entropion due to a chromosomal condition. Marshmallow faced a host of medical challenges that made breathing, eating, and even opening his eyes uncomfortable. His sweet, flat little face invited infections, and without corrective care, there was a high risk of long-term complications.

Yet, despite his difficult start, Marshmallow’s spirit shone brightly. He never let his medical condition slow him down—he played, cuddled, and explored the world with endless curiosity. Thanks to the support of generous donors, Marshmallow received the medications and specialist care he needed to stay comfortable and healthy as he grew. Each vet visit brought a clearer plan, and every day in foster care allowed him to thrive as he awaited his future surgery.

The turning point came when Marshmallow was neutered. Because of this surgery and the fact that he was thriving in foster care, we thought it best to put him up for adoption and see if the right family would be willing to take on his care, despite the fact that his medical journey isn’t done, and be willing to work alongside us to complete his care once he is older. We knew that the ONE thing still missing in this sweet boy’s life was a family. The perfect parents ended up coming to us QUICK. We were elated. Now, Marshmallow is surrounded by the forever love and attention of his family, whom he gets to get comfortable with and settle in, while still receiving ongoing medical support from us. It’s truly a win-win!
